Description

This partnership with the Canadian Adaptive Climbing Society is in its third year of teaching. This group aims to train, equip, and mentor the adaptive climbing community in Squamish BC. The group works with disibilities of all types in a two day outdoor program that teaches the basics of adaptive climbing.

Benefits of rock climbing include physical and mental aspects such as practice of fine motor skills, coordination of movements, balance, and core control as well as problem solving and mental focus. We will focus on every participant as an individual and encourage each climber to push their unique and personal comfort zones. All participants are welcome regardless of age, gender, or ability.

No experience or equipment needed!

Climbers are encouraged to wear comfortable and flexible clothing. Equipment is provided, including harnesses and shoes.
