This outdoor climbing clinic works with athletes who have been climbing successfully in the indoor gym environment. It aims to move these climbers to an outdoor venue where they can put to practice the basic climbing skills learned in the climbing gym prior to this day. Instruction will be on climber movement, rope systems in the outdoor climbing venue, Leave No Trace ethics, and proper use of an outdoor climbing area. Our Climbing Manager Craig DeMartino will take them through the basics of climbing outside and how to be effective in this environment.
