The Keystone Adaptive Center and Adaptive Adventures are partnering once again to provide the Keystone Military All Mountain Ski and Ride Camp in beautiful Keystone, Colorado. This four night, three day camp provides disabled veterans and disabled members of the armed forces an opportunity to learn to ski or improve upon their skiing and riding abilities. All participants will experience one-on-one lessons and will be provided adaptive equipment as needed. All participants will travel and function as a group providing an opportunity for great camaraderie off the mountain.

What to Expect:

Participants will arrive on Monday, February 12 and check in to the Inn at Keystone. We will gather before dinner for a meet and greet and travel as a group to the Lake Dillon Fire Department at the Keystone Station. The Fire Department takes great pride in putting on this special dinner for our group. After dinner all participants are taken on a tour of the Fire Department before returning back to the Inn at Keystone. Buffet-style breakfast is provided at the hotel each morning and lunch is provided daily at the Keystone Adaptive Center between on-snow time. Dinner is on your own on Tuesday and Wednesday but a suggested location will be made each day if participants would like to go out as a group. On-snow instruction will occur on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00am-Noon with a break for lunch and 1:00pm-3:30pm. Thursday evening Adaptive Adventures will host a group dinner at the Rio Grande in Frisco. All participants will depart on Friday morning.

All participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the camp. If you are in need of transport from the airport and back, please contact us and we may be able to arrange group travel at a discounted rate. All lodging, lift tickets, lessons, breakfast, lunch, some dinners and equipment is provided at no cost. Veterans are responsible for their own travel and some meals.

This camp is provided to disabled veterans and disabled members of the armed forces thanks to the support of the VA Adaptive Sports Grant.
