Description

This climbing specific volunteer training will cover everything our volunteers need to know about our climbing program. Our Climbing Program Coordinator, Craig DeMartino will teach adaptive techniques used for athletes in our indoor rock climbing program. The clinic will cover proper PBUS Belay technique, rope work, disability awareness, proper transfers for wheelchair users, a brief overview of the MA system used in the climbing programs, and an overview of the club model so our volunteers can interact on a better platform with our athletes.

Participants will need a climbing harness and belay device (can bring own or rent frm the climbing gym).

If you have questions, please contact Craig DeMartino at craig@adaptiveadventures.org
