Summary

This is a webcast training on safe transferring and proper body mechanics.

Description

Whether you’re a 6-foot body-building enthusiast or a petite 5-foot-2-inch couch potato, it all comes down to technique, rather than muscles, when transferring participants at our programs.

Having the right equipment to facilitate those techniques is important, as are teamwork and education, particularly on keeping all parties safe from injury during a transfer.

Because manual lifting and transfers are high-risk tasks that could lead to injury, it’s vital that all staff and volunteers use safe, appropriate transfers during our programs.

Please join us for this webcast so you can acquire the knowledge and develop good habits of safe transferring. Your back will thank you!
