Description

In 2002, Craig DeMartino survived a 100 foot ground fall while climbing. He suffered a spinal cord injury and eventually had his leg amputated below the knee. Post injury he learned to climb again and is now the leading adaptive climber in the U.S. with some notable firsts that include the following: The First Amputee Ascent of Yosemite's El Capitan in under 24 hours, Leader of the First All Disabled Ascent of El Capitan, Two-time National Adaptive Climbing Champion and Two-time Bronze Medal Winner in Adaptive World Championships. Craig recently was documented in a film called "Craig's Reaction". The film follows Craig through his journey after the fall and how he now gives back through adaptive climbing and his role at Adaptive Adventures.

"Craig's Reaction" is receiving international recognition with acceptance to the 2018 Adventure Film Festival and 2018 Banff Mountain Film Festival. Join us for a FREE film showing of "Craig's Reaction", a Q&A with Craig DeMartino, drinks, snacks and a raffle. All proceeds from the event directly benefit Adaptive Adventures for Colorado Gives Day.
