Description

Adaptive Adventures and Keystone Adaptive is hosting a Youth Ski Camp March 25-28, 2018. This fun sports camp is for youth with physical disabilities who want to learn how to ski or would like to advance their skiing skills. The camp is about getting to know snow sports with quality ski lessons, private or group lessons, with trained instructors who share their passion of skiing with the kids.

The camp is designed for any kid from 6 to 21 yrs. old with physical disabilities, who are either new skiers, or intermediate skiers who would like to boost their skiing level, who are mono-skiers, bi-skiers, 3 or 4 track skiers, or visually impaired. And it’s all meant to let the kids have fun, learn to ski, meet new friends, and explore the awesome Keystone Ski Resort. The cost of the camp is very affordable with prices including lodging, skiing, and meals for participants and their families. Lodging will be at the Griffith Lodge (https://www.boec.org/programs/scott-griffith-lodge/) owned and operated by The BOEC in Breckenridge CO. We will leave each morning from there and head over to the Keystone Ski resort each day for lessons and a hearty lunch. This Lodge is an open floor plan with semi private bunk rooms. All participants must come with an adult caregiver and if that caregiver would like to ski they will need to be able to ski the same terrain as the participant. Rental equipment may or may not be available and a fee for lift tickets may be required.
