Adaptive Adventures is teaming up with the Rocky Mountain Adaptive Sports Centre (RMASC) in Canmore, Alberta Canada once again to provide a week of all mountain skiing and riding at two great resorts – Lake Louise and Sunshine Village. Camp is for skiers and snowboarders who are at an intermediate to expert level. **By clicking the "register" button, you will be APPLYING for a position to this camp and will automatically be placed on the Waiting List. Due to the limited number of spots available (12 participants), your application will be reviewed by the Adaptive Adventures staff who will then get in contact with you if you have been selected**

Description

As the Coronoavirus (COVID-19) expands across the United States, there is a chance that programming and events with Adaptive Adventures may be impacted.

 

For the health and safety of all involved in our programs, we ask that if you are not feeling well to please refrain from attending the program. We are working diligently to help stop the spread of seasonal illnesses within our community. Please make sure you are registering ahead of time for programs. This will help ensure you receive updates from us and will help us be prepared to serve you.

 

Detailed information about transmission, symptoms, current situation and preventative measures to be taken can be found at the CDC Website. We recommend taking the following steps to help safeguard your health and wellness, as well as those around you:

  • If you are feeling ill or displaying symptoms of illness, please stay home. You may be asked to return home if you are displaying symptoms.
  • Please remember to wash your hands often and thoroughly.
  • Utilize hand sanitizers and surface disinfectants.
  • Please take steps prior to traveling, including checking the CDC’s Travelers’ Health Notices website.

Adaptive Adventures is teaming up with the Rocky Mountain Adaptive Sports Centre (RMASC) in Canmore, Alberta Canada to provide a week of all mountain skiing and riding at two great resorts – Lake Louise and Sunshine Village. International Adventure Awaits! Four days of skiing and riding with our Canadian friends. Share your knowledge, learn from our instructors, and enjoy the camaraderie of this All Mountain Ski and Ride camp.

This camp is open to skiers and snowboarders who are at an intermediate to expert level.

You must have your own equipment, be able to ski Blue and Black Diamond terrain and be able to load and unload the chair lift independently to register and apply for this trip

COST

Participant w/ Disability: $1000

Includes 6 nights lodging (double occupancy), instruction, equipment (as needed), 4 days lift tickets, and most meals. *single room available for an additional U.S.$400 (U.S.$1400 total)

Veteran Participant: VA Grant

Scholarships are available but limited. Includes 6 nights lodging (double occupancy), instruction, equipment (as needed), 4 days lift tickets, and most meals.

Local Participant (no lodging): $600

Includes instruction, equipment (as needed), 4 days lift tickets, and most meals. **Without Lift Tickets - U.S.$300

Family/Friend/Caregiver: $950

Full Camp: includes 9 nights lodging (must room with participant), 4 days lift tickets, and most meals. Max one guest per participant.

TRANSPORTATION

All participants, volunteers, and staff will be responsible for their own transportation to the Host Hotel. The group will coordinate transport from the Hotel to Ski Hills.
