Web-based High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout routine with Gilbert Vasquez. A thirty-minute session that will make you sweat and work hard!

This program will occur two times a week incorporating various principles and elements. The instructor will modify for seated (chair, ball, wheelchair) and standing exercises. You will learn exercises you can do with or without equipment at home. The workouts will include high intensity interval training, tabata style, plyometrics, resistance bands, body weight, weight training (if possible), and other creative techniques to engage the  participants in a home workout. Adaptations and modifications will be provided. Stay healthy and strong!


 Traditional Equipment  Substitute "Equipment"
 Free Weights and/or Resistance Bands  Water Bottle / Gallon Jug / Canned Food
 Yoga Strap  Belt / Large Bath Towel
 Foam Roller  Yoga Block / Large Bath Towel
 Hand Towel  Hand Towel


Introduction 1-5 mins

Warm-up/Stretch  5 mins

Exercises 15-25  mins

Cool Down/Stretch 5 mins


Remember to go at your own pace, stay hydrated, know your maximum heart rate, and to take breaks if needed!

HIIT is an intense workout that will require your heart rate to reach high level zones. 80% and above! So please remember to take the necessary steps to have a smooth and comfortable workout.
