Biking at Paseo Lineal Bayamon and discussing the many different bikes available, and adapt each rider to a bike, ride the dedicated bike trails and learn more about how to ride these bikes with our disabilities. All riders who have been awarded bikes from the VA Healthcare System are welcome to become buddy riders and mentors.

Description

VA Intro to Cycling - Puerto Rico

Meeting in the parking lot near the food stands for the first or refresher fitting and demonstration for adaptive bikes. You will be fit for a bike and any adaptations necessary before heading out on a ride to be sure you feel comfortable as you grow into this great program in partnership with the VA Carribean Healthcare System. Please bring clothing appropriate to exercise in warm weather and little shade. We will provide snacks and beverages for you to use on the ride.

Paseo Lineal is a 8.9 mile out and back trail located near Bayamón, Central Region, Puerto Rico that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, running, and mountain biking.
