Washington DC VA Medical Center Adaptive Cycling Clinic
Monday, November 14- Wednesday, November 16, 2022
Join us for this special clinic held in partnership with the Washington DC VA Medical Center. Veterans participating in this clinic will learn assessment, fitting and adaptation, basic bike maintenance and road safety. This clinic features an opportunity to ride as a group in and around Anacostia Park, building on skills while socializing with other veterans. VA Medical Staff will be provided an opportunity on Wednesday, November 16th to learn more about adaptive cycling including assessment and prosthetics purchasing/ordering process.

Tuesday, November 15 @ Anacostia Park

You must register to participate in this customized series with the VA system and Adaptive Adventures collaborative recreation therapy clinic event.
All volunteers will be assigned a buddy rider and progress through the theraputic process for all new veteran riders.
This clinic also provides level 2 mechanical and adaptive coaching theory for community partners and mentors.
