Description

Program description:

Join us for an evening of relaxation and mindfulness. No experience is required, but if you have your own equipment you are encouraged to bring it!
Yin yoga is a passive practice that includes poses that are held for a longer amount of time. This form of stretching reaches connective tissues that may not be reached by other types of yoga. Because it is more passive, this practice offers an opportunity for mindfulness and relaxation. In our class, we will have a themed guided meditation that will compliment the selected poses for the day.

Schedule:

WEEK 1 - Intro to Yin and mindfulness

WEEK 2 - Yin for relaxation

WEEK 3 - Heart opener sequence

WEEK 4 - Sequence for stress

WEEK 5 - Sequence for tight shoulders and neck

Equipment:

-Yoga Mat.

-Yoga Blocks (2)

-Yoga Bolster

*(2) pillows can be used instead of yoga bolster.

It is recommended for you to bring these items if possible. We will have limited equipment available for participants to borrow. Please bring pillows if possible.
