Join a variety of the Adaptive Adventures crew as they lead you in unique workouts that are designed to challenge you and improve your health and fitness. November 9: Fitness with Craig & Cyndy DeMartino
Join us for a seated, general fitness class that will help with strength, balance, and building community. No special equipment is needs as the exercises can be done with or without weights added. All fitness types and levels are welcome, let this class get you started on your healthy journey, or add a new facet to an already on going fitness regimen.
November 16: Yoga with Shanna Linn
Build core strength, balance, and flexibility in a class that includes functional movement sequences, yoga postures in combination with handheld weights, and abdominal work coordinated with breath awareness, and concluding with a short guided meditation. Participants should have a non-skid mat such as a yoga or exercise mat, a sturdy chair, and dumbbells of appropriate weight. Recommendations for 1, 2, 3, 5 lbs, or heavier for those with a regular weight-lifting practice. Chair options will be provided as modifications for standing and kneeling positions.
